I'm Cody. I build it, and I stay to help run it.
I run Greggs Development LLC on my own. When you work with me, you work with the person who designs, builds and runs your systems. There are no account managers and no ticket queues.
I am a self-taught developer. Born and raised in Ann Arbor, now building from metro Detroit.
Today most of my work is for founders with a cause, nonprofits and community movements. I also serve as Vice President and Digital Director of One Good Word One Good Deed, an anti-bullying organization, where I build and run the operation behind the mission.
How I got here
2010
The spark
Junior year at Pioneer High School in Ann Arbor, Michigan, I took a web development class. It started slow, then the fundamentals of JavaScript clicked, and that first project planted a seed.
2017
The realization
I studied Web Development and Computer Information Systems. I saw the industry moving faster than the curriculum, so I chose real-world, self-directed learning instead.
2025
The decision
After years of learning across technology, business and digital strategy, I decided to put 15 years of experience to work and go all in.
